Philosophy

Build systems, not schedules.

I never wanted to be one thing. I trade, I build, I design, I code. AI has made it possible to do all of that without a team. I find that more interesting than specializing, and so far it has worked out.

Algorithmic Trading

Automated strategies that scan, signal, execute, and manage risk. I don't watch charts all day.

AI & Automation

Scrapers, inference pipelines, workflow automation. If I do something more than twice, I automate it.

Creative Work

Motion graphics, video editing, 3D printing, graphic design. Making things with your hands, even if the hands are digital.

Web & Code

I build web products myself, front to back. Mostly for my own use, sometimes for clients.

Psychology

Studied it formally, apply it constantly. Most problems in trading and business are really problems in behavior.

Location Independent

Everything I build has to work from a laptop in a different country. That constraint shapes most of my decisions.

Timeline

How I got here.

Teenager — Origins

Spent most of my teenage years taking things apart and putting them back together. Had no idea that counted as anything useful.

Tech Design
2018 — Graphic Design

Studied graphic design. Learned type, layout, color. Mostly learned to look at things more carefully.

2021 — Video Production

Started a video production company in Germany. Clients, projects, real income. Also realized quickly that selling hours has a ceiling.

2022 — Day Trading

Started learning to trade. Read a lot, lost some money, figured out that the psychological side is harder than the technical side.

2023 — Motion Design & SaaS

Got into motion design, worked with SaaS companies, took on creative direction for an Atlassian partner. Kept trading on the side.

2024 — Algo Trading Begins

Started learning algorithmic trading. Wrote my first strategies in MQL5, ran backtests, broke things repeatedly. It clicked.

Went full-time on trading. Built out the infrastructure, tested it thoroughly, and got to a point where I could actually rely on it.
